A Month Through Instagram: July 2016

I need to start off by saying the title is a little misleading. This is actually a month and about ten days, as told through Instagram. I'm sorry for the deception, I hope you can find a place in your heart to forgive me. "A Month Through Instagram" just flows off the tongue much nicer than "A Month and Ten Days Through Instagram".
But in all seriousness, July (and those last ten days of June) has been the busiest month of my life. Ever since I graduated high school(!!!!!) on July 20th, I've been nonstop. While I loved being on the go and seeing so many different things, being at home these past two has been a welcomed change. As a result of being on the go this past month, I've had little time to dedicate to this blog; however, there's always time to post on Instagram (and if you don't follow me on Instagram, you should and you can do that here)! This post is basically going to be a big summary of what I've been up to this past month and help provide some background for upcoming posts. So if that's something you'd be interested in, keep reading!

TailoredTravels: Montreal

Two months ago, I was lucky enough to convince my family to go to Montreal for spring break.  I know Montreal and spring break are a weird combination. But it was already cold in New Jersey and we weren't going to go anyway far enough for it to be warm for spring break; so why not just embrace the cold and explore somewhere new? France being one of the highest places on my travel wishlist, Montreal seemed like the perfect way to get a similar feel until I can go to France and experience the real thing. Here are some of my favorite pictures from my trip to Montreal and I hope you enjoy!

Old Montreal:
The first day we got to Montreal was by far the coldest, and because of that we didn't want to stray too far from our hotel; instead we decided to explore the area around our hotel. We stayed at Le Saint Sulpice, which was located right in Old Montreal. Old Montreal was the perfect location because it's home to all the historic architecture that attracted us to Montreal in the first place and had tons of things to do and places to eat.

Capes and the City

Let's just ignore the gaping hole in the trees behind me
